The Senior Boys returned from Niagara Sunday night from a fabulous trip that saw a double overtime game and similar last second heroics in the Raptors victory over the Celtics.

The Red Hawks defeated Welland Notre Dame in game#1 of the tournament in St.Catherine's. Welland comes with a strong reputation - a nice resume builder for the Hawks. Score 52-27.

In game #2, the Red Hawks would face formidable 'AAAA' Burlington Notre Dame that competes at a high level every year. Despite an impressive start from the Hawks (up 11-4), some tough play and poor officiating would rattle the usually composed SF team. The Hawks were unable to recover losing 53-28.

In game #3, SF would take on athletic, St.Francis Xavier (Mississagua). In a highly entertaining game that saw post play, perimeter shooting and fast break hoops - the two teams would trade baskets all game long - right into double overtime. Curtis Onion would drill two 3-point shots to seal a tough and deserved win. 59-53.

Tournament scoring: Judd (39), Dufort (37), Onion (18), McEwen (14), Summers (10)

The boys finished off a strong 'B' Consolation win with a great experience at the Rogers Centre, where the Hawks witnessed the Raptors defeat teh Celtics in a thrilling game that went down to the wire.
